Do I have to pay a travel agent fee for my trip planning?
Tropical Latitudes Travel does not charge custom booking fees for your vacation. You are not paying more to us for your travel, the supplier pays us directly as an “outside sales rep” for their company.

Will my trip be a BUST if a hurricane hits the area where I’m vacationing?
Not a certain, cruise lines will often attempt to divert their routes to avoid any extreme weather.  Many land based resorts offer hurricane protection policies that can vary depending on length of stay and area of concern with weather.  A Tropical Latitudes Travel specialist can best detail these concerns at time of reservation.

What are the CHEAPEST months to travel to the tropics? 
Traditionally you can save on Caribbean travel from June to October; these are considered off peak season on many islands.  Cruisers can $AVE by traveling from May –Oct, many families travel during these time frames.  Mediterranean travel is off peak from Nov-Apr.  Hawaii and the South Pacific islands tend to have more travelers in the colder months Nov-Mar.

What are the tipping recommendations for a cruise?
This is a personal choice however please note some of the luxury lines do not require tipping, many of the more mainstream lines offer guidelines for tipping and as an added convenience will allow passengers to prepay gratuities.
